K: After the day's activities, I went to Stanford University basketball stadium - where we had the host playing Cal State.
E: What did you think of the basketball game?K: It has less rules than American Football [Karicho watched the Super Bowl with us in AZ and thought it was a confusing game]. I liked the game. It made me like basketball much more.
E: Did it make you want to play?
K: I have not explored my feelings about that.
E: What is something different that you observed about the game.
K: The team has it's own mascot. In Kenya, they usually sing like the same as here - they sing for their teams. The team that plays at their home, it is more strong because of being motivated. They say in swahili, "mcheza kwao hutuzwa" - literally means "to play - home - to take care" so if you play in your home, you are taken care of.
